The Good Vibrations Company B.V. (GVC) aims to enhance the performance of individuals and groups by analysing biological and other signals and providing relevant individual feedback that will promote the well-being and successful performance of people in private, business and other circumstances.
Realization of the GVC Concept
Our applications realize our aim by:
Measuring the signals provided by the users voice, heart, lungs or other organs
Analyzing these signals for aspects of health, emotional state, or arousal
Providing dedicated personal feedback
Apps and algorithms
The GVC Concept has been implemented in several demo apps.
These employ a suite of proprietary algorithms that analyse many facets of the users speech, such as the GVC Emotion Recognition and GVC Voice Disorder Detection algorithms.
This analysis software has been developed by Paul Boersma, professor of Phonetic Sciences at the University of Amsterdam, a former partner in GVC B.V. and a leading global expert in speech analysis.
Real-time analysis and feedback
One of our typical demo apps interacts with the user as follows:
The user is asked to say a few seconds of speech
An analysis of the users emotion is performed while the user is speaking
The app provides relevant individual feedback that improves the users emotional state
For apps that interpret speech, the analysis technique operates directly from the voice, without having to interpret the words that the user speaks. As the influence of emotions (or disorders) on the voice is largely independent of a persons language, age, or sex, this analysis can be applied around the world, for any language and in any age group. This allows apps that employ a GVC analysis algorithm to immediately target any market in Europe, Asia, or any other continent.
